Program Associate Position Announcement

 

The Maureen and Mike Mansfield Foundation, a small nonprofit organization that promotes understanding and cooperation in U.S.-Asia relations, seeks a full-time program associate for its busy Washington, D.C., office.

The program associate will have primary responsibility for development and implementation of the Foundation's China programs, including exchanges, conferences and policy dialogues, as well as other Asia-focused programming. 

Competitive candidates will have a degree (preferably a master's degree) in Asian Studies or International Relations; proficiency in Chinese; and at least two years of work experience in the foreign policy field. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential, as are excellent writing and communications skills.  U.S. citizenship or current work visa required.
